Anice summon the Awards in the meat sector
The National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (Anice) creates Anice Awards in the meat sector, in order to recognize the work of different people, companies and institutions that have helped to bring this sector into the position in which stands today, both nationally and internationally.
ANICE The Executive Committee has decided to establish the following categories: Award for “business trajectory” award “Friends of Meat”, “Jose Flores Innovation” award “Food and Health” award and prize “Sustainability and Environment “. The awards, which may be single or shared, no cash prize and will include the delivery of a plaque (or similar) and a diploma. The jury has the power to award the prize in a category.
The prize for the “business trajectory” is awarded to those entrepreneurs in the meat sector they have particularly noted for his long career, which has resulted in a successful business project, prestige inside and outside the sector, and has thus contributed to its valuation as a dynamic and relevant sector. The award “Friends of the Flesh” rewards those individuals or institutions that have contributed to improve the professional image of the meat and its position in society and national or international markets activity.
The “Jose Flores innovation” award recognizes those individuals, companies and institutions that have invested in R & D as a competitive tool inexcusable for the meat industry, and / or have developed new products, technologies or processes. The “Food and Health” prize is a category that clearly defines that
personality, company or institution in these areas noted for his defense of meat products and their role in the gastronomy and food and has transmitted his passion for them throughout their career.
The “Sustainability and Environment” award to those individuals, businesses or institutions that have made an outstanding contribution to meat value chain more sustainable and aligned with the criteria of responsibility that society demands is granted.
The announcement of these awards is open, and any person or institution related to the sector can nominate candidates for the different awards established. Entries will be accepted from December 1, 2015 at 9 am up to January 15, 2016 at 14 hours.
Those interested should send nominations to the headquarters of the National Association of Meat Industries of Spain (C / General Rodrigo, 6 – Ground 12-28003 – Madrid) or by email at the following address: anice@anice.es. The award decision will be announced on February 1, 2016, after deliberation by the jury, which will consider all aspects of each of the categories, after reviewing the nominations and provided documentation and merits.
The award ceremony will be held in Madrid, coinciding with the celebration of the General Assembly ANICE, which usually develops between the months of March and April.
