Taste Spain: the Madrid Fusion gastronomic tourism in 2016
From 25 to 27 January, eleven destinations Taste Spain participates actively in the International Summit of Gastronomy Madrid Fusion. The cities of Seville, Valladolid, Logroño, Cambrils, La Coruna, Lanzarote, Sant Carles de la Rapita, Denia, Ciudad Real, Tenerife and Segovia, will attend the Taste called Avenida Spain, located on the main floor, with an extensive program activities, guided tours of the most representative dishes and holding the Ruta de la Tapa tastings.
Madrid Fusion 2016 in each of the participating destinations will be starring in a day. So, on Monday 24, from 13 to 14 hours it will be devoted to Cambrils, Logroño and Tenerife. Cambrils offer tastings Galera cream, olive oil and Romesco 100% Arbequina and draw two dining experiences. Meanwhile, Logroño offer tasting of wines from the Marqués de Vargas and Campo Viejo wine cellars and ice cream created by renowned Rioja Fernando Sáenz Duarte ice cream. Finally, Tenerife offer potatoes with mojo, cheeses and wines of the island.
On Monday 24, 15 to 16 hours, will be the turn of Ciudad Real, who will offer a tasting of venison sausages, accompanied by Pan de Cruz; Valladolid, with a wine tasting of his five two (Cigales, Ribera de Duero, Rueda, Toro y Tierra de León), accompanied by bread, olive oil, cheese and pasta Castilian Verdejo and Denia with a tasting of Cokes Marina Alta and salted.
Following 16 to 17 hours, will be the turn of A Coruña, with the presentation of “laconic. Days pork with turnip tops” with tasting snacks weight Galician bread, pressed ham, cheese Arzúa-Ulloa and chimichurri algae ; and Sevilla with a cover of citrus and smoky inspired Guadalquivir.
On Wednesday 27, 12 to 13 hours the protagonists destinations in Spain Taste Avenue will Lanzarote, with a goat cheese tasting paired with wine Lanzarote Volcanic Malvasia; Segovia who offer cheeses and meats accompanied by a tasting gin and tonics an animation about the history of the city and San Carles de la Rapita, presenting Alfacs Bay and oyster tasting natural.
Along with the presentation of these dishes and culinary calendar for 2016, destinations Taste Spain, offered at the beginning of each day a space for sweets, a thematic hour at noon dedicated to wine and vemú and snacks at the end of session every day.
On Tuesday 26, it will be devoted to the top. Under the title “Taste Spain in small bites” Taste Spain Avenida offers a tour of our cuisine with a continuous session typical of each of the eleven destinations tapas.
Taste Spain is the first national platform with an international vocation to promote tourism and gastronomy. It consists of the Spanish Federation of Hotels (FEHR), the Spanish Association of destinations to promote gastronomic tourism, the European Organization for cooks (Euro-toques), the Federation of Associations of cooks and confectioners of Spain (Facyre) and Paradores Tourist.
One of the major objectives of Taste Spain is to transform the tourism experiences in food products of high value, unique and specialized. That´s a different way to discover Spain, a special way to relish every journey that goes beyond the gastronomic tourism.
