7th Master in Business Management Agrifood, open term
This postgraduate course is part of the Advanced Training Program for Business Managers of Food Chain MAGRAMA. Internationalization, innovation, improved financing, equipment management and development of managerial skills are, among others, issues discussed in MGEA.
The LAFER and Nebrija University Nebrija Business School Foundation opened the registration period for the 7th edition of the Master in Management of Agrifood Companies (MGEA). The academic year will begin next October, and will have as main novelty that will offer a double degree, the own of the University of Nebrija and also the title of “Manager of Standards and Quality Protocols and Food Safety, BRC, IFS and ISO 22000 “offered by AENOR.
This course graduate is driven by the LAFER and Global Market Business Advisers Foundation has become in just six years in the formation of reference in the agri-food sector, aimed at junior managers and middle managers. National, provides a comprehensive view of the value chain, analyzing the interrelationships and their impact on the business.
The main objective of the program is to provide knowledge for the management of a company or cooperative agro-food, enabling all departments understand and meet the new challenges presented in today’s business environment. “For the food industry remains one of the pillars of reference for the Spanish economy, we must invest in quality training and prestige to help us stay ahead as MGEA offers” argues Jorge Jordana, Director of the Master and Minister of the Presidency of FIAB.
Another feature is that the academic program is designed and updated by the managers themselves in the sector. It also noted that this postgraduate course is included within Advanced Training Program for Business Managers of Food Chain Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA).
Delivered with a practical approach and blended-learning methodology that combines online classes with, MGEA with the participation of renowned professionals who transfer their experience and knowledge to students through various master classes.
The average profile of the 125 students who have gone through these six issues is that of a professional of 33 years outside Madrid, intermediate command that works in the food industry with professional interest in reaching new heights. It also highlights other profiles such as those that come from family businesses, entrepreneurs with previous experience in the sector and finally, other professionals who want recycled environments and integrated into this growing sector.

In various editions, MGEA has managed to bring together prominent players in the agri-food sector, having received the support of companies and industry leading organizations including Fertiberia, MAPFRE Companies, Forum Interalimentario, Grupo Siro, Mercadona, Coca-cola, Grupo Santander Unilever, Calidad Pascual, Ebro Foundation, Caja Rural Cooperative Bank or Spanish, among others.
It also has the support of major agribusiness organizations, such as ASAJA, Cooperative Agro-Food, FIAB and the General Council of Official Colleges of Agricultural Engineers, the General Council of Associations of Agricultural Engineers and the Association of Graduates in Technology Food (ALCYTA).
