About 98 million euros to the CCAA for farm programs, farmers and rural development
The Sectoral Conference on Agriculture and Rural Development held on June 30th agreed the distribution of about 98 million euros between different regions for the financing of rural development programs, support for the wine sector, animal health, and as agricultural and livestock programs.
In this global game, about 32.6 million euros will go towards financing the Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020. This amount is part of the contribution of the General State Administration to co-finance the contribution of the EAFRD and enable correct implementation of Rural Development Programmes of the Autonomous Communities.
The amount approved will be transferred to the paying agencies of the Autonomous Communities.

Wine promotion
Support program for the wine sector, in particular, for the promotion of wine in third country markets, has approved the distribution of 52.1 million euros of aid from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF).
This program aims to promote knowledge of the characteristics and qualities of Spanish wines, in order to contribute to improving their competitive position and to consolidate or opening new markets.
With the funds allocated a total of 1,119 actions and programs submitted by the Autonomous Communities will be financed.

Animal health
A total of 6.7 million euros have been earmarked for state programs to eradicate animal diseases. Within this section compensation for compulsory slaughter it is included after the diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis, bovine brucellosis, ovine and caprine brucellosis, caprine tuberculosis, salmonellosis, transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (BSE and scrapie) and EBL.
European cofinancing for performing diagnostic tests for the monitoring program Espongifore Transmissible Encephalopathies and development support program for control and eradication of Bluetongue is also contemplated.

Agricultural and Livestock Programs
Another item assigned by the Sectorial Conference has been 978,540 euros for Action Line on quality of plant varieties and certification of propagating material. In this line both agronomic and technological quality assessment of plant varieties, such as quality testing and certification of seeds and nursery plants is included.
For the distribution of these funds have taken into account the remaining reported by the Autonomous Communities.
For the promotion of Agricultural Associations have been allocated 50,000 euros. This line is based on the Royal Decree that the recognition of producer groups of live plants and floricultural products is regulated and measures to support their establishment and functioning are established, and the guidelines of the European Union applicable to state aid in the agriculture and forestry sectors and in rural areas.
The distribution criteria are based on funding requests submitted by the relevant regions for the payment to producer groups and the remaining available.
Improved native breeds
They have also allocated 1.2 million euros for the management and development of livestock improvement, and particularly for local breeds. For distribution it has taken the number of breeding associations indigenous breeds recognized by the Autonomous Communities for the management of genealogical books and the amounts forecast spending each account.
Within the line of action on management and development of livestock improvement, and for the official control of milk yield has resolved to distribute 1.4 million. In distribution they have taken the valid number of completed and certified by the Autonomous Communities and the remnants reported by the same lactations into account.
Finally, 2.4 million for the promotion of beekeeping will go. In its distribution it has been the number of hives registered on the basis of Livestock Farms Registry (REGA) and the budgetary availability of the autonomous regions and the remaining from the exercise 2015 into account.
