Vredestein, the manufacturer of agricultural tires, presents new Flotation Trac series radial tires in Agritechnica. The Flotation Trac will be available in these sizes: 900 / 65R32 and 900 / 65R38. In addition to defining new references in terms of rolling and soil preservation, the 900 / 65R38 tire has an unsurpassed diameter of 2.15 meters.

1050 tire alternative

With this tire for self-propelled and mainly towed manure tanks, Vredestein offers very interesting alternatives to the famous 1050 tires. The Flotation Trac XL is narrower, so there are fewer limitations on the total width of the vehicle . Since lower tire pressure can be used, soil compaction and groove formation are reduced compared to the 1050 / 50R32 model. The tire height diameter is 2.15 meters, so that the rolling is 22% larger and it is possible to continue rolling in the most complex conditions, which is favorable both for traction power and fuel consumption .

The profile of the Flotation Trac is characterized by transverse blocks towards the tread that improve traction and rolling. The center block profile guarantees low rolling resistance on the road and silent driving. Thanks to the rounded sides and the absence of sharp edges and corners in the race, the tire is respectful with the pastures.

32 ″ option

If the 2.15 meter high Flotation tire is too high, Vredestein also presents the 900 / 65R32. The pressure of this tire is almost as low, but its height is 2.0 meters. The two sizes will be presented at Agritechnica 2019, which will take place between November 10 and 16 in Hannover.
