Unica Group doesn’t top out in the end of the campaign

The business group continues to break record to finish with 230 million kilos of fruits and vegetables 2014-2015 campaign. Tomato, cucumber and pepper are the products that topped the sales ranking of the marketer. UNICA has aimed for the 2015/2016 marketing year, reaching 260 million kilos.

The business group UNICA Group continues to break records. If three months stood at 200 million kilos of fruits and vegetables during the campaign, at year-end 2014/2015 has managed to reach 230 million, reaching that target is marked as the beginning of last agricultural season.

The three products that lead the ranking UNICA Group sales are tomatoes (80 million kilos) and cucumber and pepper (40 million kilos each). These are followed by watermelon, cantaloupe, eggplant, zucchini, and lettuce, among others. The main destinations for the production of UNICA Group are Germany, UK, France, Denmark, Austria and Poland.

Companies as Cabasc, Casur, Cohorsan, Cota 120, tEl Grupo, Ferva, Parque Natural, Agrolevante y Parafruts, make this project of concentration of supply, the challenge facing the campaign that has just begun is to reach 260 million kilos, to through organic growth and the incorporation of farmers and Agrolevante Parafruts, the latter with new products for the group, such as citrus.
