The 7000 Series will be drawing the attention of both the public and professionals alike at the ARBOS stand (Hall 5 Stand D04) at Agritechnica, the world’s most important international expo for the mechanised agriculture industry.
Alongside the undisputed star of the 2019 edition of the expo, the stand will also be a showcase for the other signature models of the group’s full line of high performance, high tech tractors and implements and for the innovations introduced by the company over the past two years. After its resounding success at all the major shows in the industry, the 7000 Series – consisting of the three models “7220”, “7240” and “7260” – is now ready for its official launch at Hannover. Tireless and fuel-efficient, these machines feature 6 cylinder FPT Stage V engines delivering up to 280 HP in overpower mode working in conjunction an implement powershift transmission for extraordinary flexibility whatever the task.
Among the latest additions to the ARBOS line-up is another family of open field tractors – the 5000 Series and, specifically, the Model Year 2020 version of the “5130” presented at the expo. The range presented here introduces numerous updates and new features, and makes its official entry into the world of smart farming and the IoT. Following in the footsteps of the 7000 Series, these machines have also evolved to embrace the latest technology, making this range the perfect choice for medium to large businesses and for the exacting contract farmer.
Another stalwart in the range is the 4000 Series of specialised tractors for fruit orchards and vineyards. Available as “F” and “Q” variants, all of these tractors are equipped with potent 4 cylinder FCA low emissions engines ensuring compliance with the latest and most stringent emissions regulations. The familiar workhorses of the ARBOS range – namely the 2000 and 3000 Series of compact tractors – will also be in the spotlight Small in size but agile and nimble, these are perfect for the hobby farmer and small-to-medium business looking for simple but sturdy and reliable machines. A strong candidate for best selling tractor in its class, the 3055 has been designed in compliance with the new TMR regulation and is powered by a 50 HO environmentally friendly engine.
ARBOS seed drills – the mainstay of the range of implements manufactured at San Vito al Tagliamento – are the perfect accompaniment for this tractor family. The flagship in the range is the UST, an innovative model created for sub-surface seeding, a technique that is becoming more and more widespread in the agricultural world, which preserves the fertility of the soil by eliminating the preparatory work normally needed before sowing. The new products on show at the stand include the MS 8100 Elektro FF, the new electric drive seed drill offering significantly improved performance at high speeds and equipped with a hydraulic heavy duty forward-folding frame which facilitates transport by road from field to field, and the MS 8130 Series “Plus” precision seed drill with advanced seed distributor, which combines extraordinary seeding speed with practically total precision. Other news include the introduction of self-levelling capability to the MBS EVO range of carried sprayers with aluminium spray bar which, as from next year, will be equipped with a special ultrasound sensor, and the forthcoming launch of the MSD 2.0 Combi Disc, a machine which allows for the combined use of a seed drill – which would normally be used together with a rotary harrow – with a disc harrow.
The comprehensive line-up of products that ARBOS brings to Agritechnica is the culmination of a concerted effort to extend each of the ranges of the group conducted with passion and enthusiasm. An invaluable opportunity for the group to reaffirm its leading role in the agricultural sector, and for interacting with potential customers and operators from all over the world and – most importantly – for gathering feedback, an essential ingredient allowing the brand to continue along an unstoppable path of progress growth and development.
