According to the President of EMEX (Association of Mango Exporters of Mexico), Francisco Villegas, “the Japanese market is very interesting commercially speaking for our mangoes, and although we currently only export 5 percent of our exports, but we believe that we can grow very much and increase our presence in the mentioned market “.

In addition, Mr. Villegas also points out that “we are diversifying our exports, and we understand that in addition to the Japanese market it also presents very good expectations in the Middle East, and we must strengthen our export channels in both markets, and most importantly, to conquer consumers with our quality and food safety “.

“We are convinced that with the Mangos de México seal of quality, it can allow us to boost exports to the Japanese market, where they value the quality of our mangoes, and it can be perfectly complementary to that of the United States,” says Mr. Villegas.

“It is vital to promote the promotion and dissemination of our mangoes in the Japanese market to gain the confidence of consumers,” says the head of EMEX.
