The professionalization of the agricultural sector will be the axis of the FIMA 2018 Technical Conference. Within the framework of these, one of the most important events of the program of this edition will be held, the VI National Forum of Rural Development, which will be held on the days 20th and 21st February. With these Technical Seminars, FIMA maintains its ongoing commitment to improving agricultural activity, working to improve knowledge and provide added value to the sector.

In addition to encouraging commercial relations, the show promotes the training of professionals through the celebration of an intense program of activities, in which there are more than thirty technical conferences and lectures

Thus, Feria de Zaragoza puts at the disposal of professionals an unbeatable setting for the meeting and debate, with the exchange of information that is an extra to the exhibition area and with great appreciation by the attendees, whose number, in last edition, exceeded 4,000 speakers.

The professionalization of the sector is one of the main objectives of the companies of the current agri-food market. Thus, in the congress framework, FIMA, the reference event of the European agri-food sector in 2018, will host one more year, between 20 and 21 February, the Rural Development Forum, a debate meeting on the main challenges of the sector, organized by the Official Association of Agricultural Engineers of Aragón, Navarra and País Vasco.

Along with the professionalization of agriculture, the Rural Development Forum will be able to focus on innovation

Given the tremendous transformation that is taking place in the sector in the hand of new technologies, their companies are betting on the increase in the use of intelligence in production tasks, without renouncing the conservation of the natural environment.

In addition to the scientific and technological presentations, the forum will present examples of concrete experiences that will make known the new technologies and developments applied to the agri-food sector.

The different problems of the agricultural segment will be addressed through three different thematic areas: irrigation, precision agriculture and trends in fertilization and plant protection

In this sense, the organization of the forum has enabled the #AgroProfesionales hastag for users who decide to interact during the development of the debate through social networks.

Attendance at these presentations can be done in person or directly through the official Forum page: https://coiaanpv.org/forodesarrollo/#foro

The use of new technologies will also enter into debate at the Sectoral Meeting on Innovation in Agricultural Irrigation. Held on the day of February 20th, within the framework of FIMA 2018, this colloquium will serve professionals in the sector to discover how to find innovative solutions that respond to the new interests of the agricultural market. Undoubtedly, a very topical issue that will serve to provide elements and solutions to agricultural day to day.

Technology and professionalization of the sector, will therefore be two of the topics on which will revolve some of the congress activities of FIMA 2018. An unmissable event for the international agri-food sector, which in its 40th edition, will have more than 1,550 exhibition signatures , which will exhibit its products in eleven pavilions and 161,000 square meters of the fairgrounds of the Aragonese capital.
