Wheel Group’s interest in the Valencian citrus is evidenced by the presence of one of its shareholders in the fair Fruit Attraction 2015 in Madrid, Francisco Dabike, visiting the stand of IGP “Citrus Valencians”. At the same time, the group through its Manager in China Jorge Eduardo Rojas Pinochet, has been working on open protocols for both Peru and Ecuador, in addition to progress in marketing the Chinese market since March 2011, marking the second time I was invited to the Feria de Madrid.

As he explained by the Manager IGP “Citrus Valencians” Director José Enrique Sanz, “Andean markets are very interesting for our citrus. In fact, Peru has a greater than 30 million inhabitants and a per capita GDP of $ 10.679, which is a perfect complement to all the other “market.

In addition, José Enrique Sanz has indicated that “it is necessary to establish and strengthen distribution channels in these markets mentioned above, which can be large consumers of our citrus”.

The head of IGP also highlighted the great work being done by both the Ministry of Agriculture as the Generalitat Valenciana for the implementation of procedures and protocols that protect the safety and health vegetable for export of our products to the markets mentioned above.
