We speak with Custodio López Cruz, agrotech consultant and regional manager at Hispatec, about how digitalisation and data analysis are transforming production and management in the berry sector.

Spanish berry exports reached a total of 426,527 tonnes and €2.114 billion in 2025, consolidating their importance within the country’s fruit and vegetable foreign trade. Strawberries remain the main exported product, while blueberries and raspberries stand out for their significant contribution to total export value.
