The 11th International Berry Congress will once again position Huelva as the European hub for technical, economic and commercial debate around berries. The event, organized by Freshuelva, will take place on June 17 and 18, 2026, at the Casa Colón, reaffirming its role as a leading forum for growers, marketers, auxiliary companies, research centers and public administrations.
The 2026 edition will spotlight the sector’s major structural challenges. These include sustainability in its three dimensions—economic, social and environmental—water availability and irrigation infrastructure, international competition, and the need to open new markets to reduce dependence on traditional destinations. Strategies to stimulate consumption will also be addressed, supported by scientific evidence on the health benefits of berries.
The program will combine technical presentations, round‑table discussions, innovation case studies, and an expanded exhibition area bringing together companies specializing in technology, inputs, genetics, logistics and other specialized services. In addition, dedicated professional networking spaces will be set up to foster alliances and commercial opportunities.
