Spain: The first global accelerator for ‘start ups’ aimed at the restoration and gastronomy already exists

Metro Group, which owns Makro, and accelerator TechStars American technology platform will support 120,000 euros to develop new technology companies (startups) around the restoration and gastronomy by selecting up to ten innovative solutions in the Horeca channel that bring added value to this sector. There is time until August 3 to submit nominations.

Those chosen will be highlighted in financial technology, mobile applications, food technology, logistics innovations and big data.

The Metro Accelerator TechStars start in Berlin on October 12 and will last for three months. The ten lucky start ups may be affiliated with seed capital can be raised to 120,000 euros, plus access to infrastructure and network of contacts Metro group.
