Salimat 2016 on the way to professionalisation

The International Fair of Galicia Abanca and Food Cluster of Galicia (Clusaga), represented by the director of the first, Ricardo Duran, and the second manager, Roberto Alonso, signed an agreement whereby both entities seek to influence yesterday professionalization of the twenty-Atlantic Food Show, Salimat 2016 and boost its International Meetings of Buyers. The fair will be held on the premises from 9 to 12 June.

The International Fair of Galicia Abanca and Food Cluster of Galicia (Clusaga), represented by the director of the first, Ricardo Duran, and the second manager, Roberto Alonso, signed an agreement whereby both entities seek to influence yesterday professionalization of the twenty-Atlantic Food Show, Salimat 2016 and boost its International Meetings of Buyers. The fair will be held on the premises from 9 to 12 June.

Under the agreement signed Food Cluster of Galicia will direct the organization of these meetings Buyers, contributing their experience to select those most important importing countries with greater interest for the supply present in the room. Also, the company will make an important novelty to the meetings, as will design agendas of visits to factories where importers know firsthand the various production centers and food business Galician winery. It will be the first time that these visits take place within its framework.

Strengthening the exhibition area

Moreover, through this agreement it is to also reinforce the descriptive part of Salimat Abanca, for which from the trade fair institution the presence of cluster partners Food of Galicia will be encouraged at a discount to them of a 30% cost of exhibition space.

Furthermore, neither the International Fair of Galicia Abanca or discarded Cluster perform other forms of collaboration for Galician food sector.
