During the first half of the year the company Camposol SA became the main Peruvian exporter of blueberries with placements worth US $ 26,160,000. The ‘Top 5’ was completed with Hortifrut – Tal SAC (US $ 20,341,000), Hortifrut-Perú SAC (US $ 11,209,000), HFE Berries Perú SAC (US $ 5,178,000) and AgrÃcola Santa Azul SAC (US $ 3,137,000).
According to information presented by the Agrodata Peru portal, this country exported between January and June 2019 a total of 14,887,753 kilos of the fruit for a FOB value of US $ 86,109,567. The figures reveal a significant boom from 8,558,733 kilos shipped abroad in the same period of 2018 for a value of US $ 50,275,869, that is, 72% growth.

According to the source consulted, the main market for berry produced in Peru (in the first half of this year) was the United States, where sales of US $ 60,945,000 were achieved.
