Pelemix introduces CoirFlex: a premium grow bag for precision agriculture

Pelemix,a global leader in coir & substrates for professional growers, is launching CoirFlex, a new premium grow bag designed to deliver enhanced performance, cultivation process  stability, and improved crop control.

The new product will be officially launched during Fruit Logistica 2026 in Berlin, [Messe Hall 25, Pelemix Stand B10]. “At Pelemix, we believe consistency is not a luxury, it is a necessity in the new age of precision agriculture. CoirFlex makes a difference by assisting crop cycles to be more predictable, stable, and efficient” says Tomer Koren, VP of Sales and Marketing at Pelemix . CoirFlex combines a high-quality coir based substrate with an advanced grow bag, integrating three key elements:

• Specialized coir based substrate, produced through an exclusive single-step, dual-action process that improves uniformity and predictability in every batch.
• Differentiating silver colored bag, which enables optimizing temperature in the substrate itself & the root zone for various climate conditions.
• O+ micro-perforations which improve oxygen availability in the bag and promote vigorous root growth.

Agronomic benefits may include up to 15% increase in yield per cycle, optimized aeration and water balance in the root zone, and flexibility with simple control irrigation and drainage . CoirFlex will be available in three formats to suit different crop needs:

• HydroMax (fine): enhanced water retention, ideal for hot climates.
• RunFlow (coarse): improved aeration and superior drainage, for control and precision.
• Hybrid (medium): balanced air/water, versatile, and flexible irrigation control .
