“The Frutoteca” will be in Bilbao closer to the kids the world of fruit and vegetables on November 28. MERCABILBAO, partner of “5 a day” since 2009, is currently the largest distribution center for perishable food North of the Iberian Peninsula.

Works to be the benchmark comprehensive Food Unit of the Basque Country to ensure the provision of quality services to its customers under a brand that is recognized as a guarantee of health, transparency and quality, as well as promote the socioeconomic development of our environment supported by the efficient, profitable and environmentally sustainable use of resources with excellent management of the organization. Concerned about the health and especially for the children, MERCABILBAO through “The Frutoteca” of “5 a day” seeks to acquire smaller healthy eating habits and to know the importance of every link in the chain horticulture.

On November 28 “The Frutoteca” will be located on the premises of Mercabilbao, where children and their families can come and learn in a fun way the world of fruit and vegetables, their properties and health benefits, showing the steps that follow from planting until arrival at our table.
