MAF RODA, a recognized leader in quality control systems for the agri-food sector, will once again participate in Fruit Attraction, taking place in Madrid from September 30 to October 2, 2025. This year, the company will showcase significant advances in post-harvest automation, with a special focus on solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI), smart robotics, and operational efficiency.

At its stand, MAF RODA will present the latest innovations in image-based sorting, capable of analyzing fruit in real time and accurately determining its quality category. Integrated into next-generation software, these technologies enable faster, more precise, and adaptive defect detection, becoming a key tool for operational decision-making.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the company’s new AI Station, featuring interactive demonstrations of advanced software already in use across systems such as Globalscan 7, Cherryscan, and Berryscan, covering a wide range of fruits including citrus, apples, avocados, cherries, blueberries, and stone fruits.

MAF RODA will introduce two new software lines designed to meet market demands:

  • SMART Technology: Developed for citrus and avocado. A 100% AI-based solution with advanced self-adjustment and automation capabilities.

  • QS Series: Targeted at cherries, blueberries, and stone fruits. It features a redesigned interface for a more agile and intuitive user experience, along with enhanced AI-based analysis accuracy.

Additionally, MAF RODA will present this year its Line Pack system for stone fruits, a fully automated packing solution with trays that allows continuous orientation and distribution of the fruit. This high-capacity robotic packing solution automates key processes, addresses labor shortages, and significantly reduces production line costs.

At this edition of Fruit Attraction Madrid, STRAUSS, recently acquired by MAF RODA and specialized in processing asparagus (white, violet, and green), apples, leeks, and similar vegetables, will have its own independent stand to showcase its innovative sorting and processing technologies.

Among its main innovations is the G OptiSort Series, a machine specialized in asparagus sorting, equipped with an advanced cleaning system that optimizes resource use and a powerful optical camera for automated quality assessment. Its modular design provides high versatility, allowing solutions to be tailored to each client’s specific needs.

MAF RODA invites all agri-food professionals to visit its stand at Pavilion 10, Stand 10D21 to discover firsthand the latest AI innovations demonstrating how these solutions can optimize fruit and vegetable processing. Attendees are also encouraged to explore STRAUSS’s specialized solutions at Pavilion 14, Stand 14C15, featuring cutting-edge technology for asparagus processing.
