The forum will focus on 2026 harvest forecasts presented by representatives from the main producing areas of Spain, Italy, France and Greece.
In 2025, Spanish exports reached 147,179 tonnes of peaches and 332,829 tonnes of nectarines. According to data from the Customs and Excise Department, processed by FEPEX, exports are highly concentrated in a few regions, with Catalonia as the main origin in terms of both volume and value.
Peach exports from Catalonia in 2025 totalled 63,913 tonnes, followed by Aragon with 27,827 tonnes, Murcia with 25,239 tonnes, and the Valencian Community with 18,756 tonnes. For nectarines, Catalonia exported 129,481 tonnes, Aragon 60,642 tonnes, Murcia 56,482 tonnes, and the Valencian Community 44,510 tonnes.
This strong territorial concentration is also reflected in export value. In 2025, Spain’s peach exports were valued at €260.2 million, while nectarine exports reached €577 million.
In peaches, Catalonia accounted for €100.6 million, Murcia €52 million, Aragon €41.5 million, and the Valencian Community €41 million. For nectarines, Catalonia led with €198 million, followed by Murcia with €119 million, the Valencian Community with €91 million, and Aragon with €86 million.
Alongside harvest forecasts, Interprunus will host a round table on international trade and the 2025 campaign balance, with a focus on commercial outlooks for 2026. The event will also present Infolineal, a service that monitors Spanish retail points of sale.
The programme will also address current issues such as the impact of the EU–Mercosur agreement on European production and the current situation of plant health protection tools, with the participation of technical experts and industry professionals.
