The 18th edition of the International Fruit and Vegetable Industry Trade Fair, Fruit Attraction 2026, will take place from October 6 to 8 at IFEMA MADRID.
From October 6 to 8, Fruit Attraction will once again turn Madrid into the world’s leading meeting point for the fruit and vegetable sector. Organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, the fair is preparing its 18th edition and has opened the application period for exhibitors from across the industry.
Under the slogan “Where the essence of the sector connects with the world,” and following last year’s resounding success, Fruit Attraction returns stronger than ever to continue shaping the future of the industry.
The fair will occupy more than 78,000 m² across 10 halls at IFEMA MADRID (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 14), where over 2,400 participating companies will showcase products, solutions, new varieties and formats, research, trends, and innovations. The entire offering will be organized into four specialized areas: Fresh Produce, Auxiliary Industry, Fresh Food Logistics, and Innova&Tech. This year, the potato will be the star product. With this extensive program, the fair expects to set a new participation record, welcoming more than 121,000 professionals from 152 countries.
Fruit Attraction will also strengthen its role as a platform for international expansion through the International Buyers Program, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, ICEX, and FEPEX. This initiative will bring 700 major buyers, retail purchasing managers, importers, and wholesalers from more than 50 countries to Madrid. Additionally, the “Guest Importing Countries” program will feature China and the United Arab Emirates as this year’s highlighted markets.
In this context, participating in Fruit Attraction represents a unique opportunity for companies in the sector: increasing visibility and international positioning in a highly specialized environment, establishing professional contacts that translate into real business, gaining direct access to buyers and distributors from around the world, and discovering firsthand the trends and innovations shaping the fruit and vegetable market.
