CropLife convenes an agricultural journalism award in Latin America

In its 3rd edition the Award is open to all specialized media in agricultural journalism in the Andean region, whose journalistic work are focused on agriculture (not livestock) and have been published or broadcast between January 2014 to June 2015, the key is to "inform, educate and reach the farmer."

Award Agro Journalism CropLife Latin America “Infomar and educate the farmer” honors the work of those means or specialized supplements that are directed to farmers, to take whatever new technologies, implement sustainable practices and has sufficient and accurate information to the so that their work more productive, environmentally sustainable and competitive. CropLife is an international organization representing the manufacturers of pesticides and fertilizers.

With this initiative CropLife Latin America and its network of partnerships aims to support and highlight the work of those specialized media coverage but with limited resources and develop a journalism project based on pedagogical contents on good agricultural practices that contribute to a better understanding of the agro-technologies for crop protection, productivity, innovation and the role of agriculture.

In its 3rd edition the Award is open to all specialized media in agricultural journalism in the Andean region, whose journalistic work are focused on agriculture (not livestock) and have been published or broadcast between January 2014 to June 2015, the key is to “inform, educate and reach the farmer.”

The call will be open until November 3, 2015, date on which the registration will close and jobs will be given to the jury to deliberate, the awarding of the prize will take place at a ceremony in Bogota the first week of December. All conditions of the contest are available on this website.
