Colombia is equipped with tSpanish farm equipment industry

The Spanish agricultural machinery firms were present at the event’s most important agricultural sector in Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean and one of the most representative in Latin America. In Agroexpo 2015 (9-20 July), Agragex has shown its recognized equipment, robust and reliable, adapted to the specific requirements of each crop, soil or exploitation.

Agragex, Spanish association of exporters of agricultural equipment manufacturers, continues to strengthen the presence of Spanish industry sector in Colombia. A year has participated in the fair Agroexpo with an outstanding group of companies that show their accessible innovation that contributes to the development of Colombian agriculture for a more sustainable path.
This year has been AGRAGEX Agroexpo with leading companies representing different market segments. They are mainly agricultural machinery but also components, post-harvest and storage and livestock equipment. Thus, strengthens its advocacy of the Spanish industry in this country, which has been developing commercial missions (last in 2014).
Colombia increases its purchases of agricultural equipment to Spain
The segment of greenhouses and crop protection is one of the most important in the Spanish export industry of agricultural equipment, and has developed advanced farming systems, the result of its continuous investments in innovation and development. As regards the segment of post-harvest, they are displayed in Agroexpo complete large-scale projects, ready to use.
Spain is one of Europe’s leading exporters of agricultural equipment to Colombia. During the first quarter it has done sales to this country over 3.09 million euros, representing a 30% increase over the same period of 2014. The figure is framed in positive expectations Agragex estimated that by 2015, between alia by the weakness of the euro, which improves the competitiveness of European manufacturers.
