Around 20 companies have formed the Consortium of Spanish Chorizo. It is an association of the most important companies in the Spanish meat sector, all leaders in the production and export of chorizo, with the aim of producing and selling an authentic Spanish chorizo ​​and high quality. Spanish Chorizo ​​seal guarantees a unique guarantee and certify the product control piece by piece, creating a distinctive mark for marketing in international markets.

More than 30 companies have taken part in the various technical and organizational meetings that have been doing since its creation, of which more than twenty have already confirmed their membership in the project. Associated companies accumulated extensive experience in exporting quality sausages in over 80 countries.

The sign of identity of the consortium will be to certify a 100% Spanish, and Spanish processing raw materials. In addition, there will be annual factories all partners, together with the continued inspection throughout the production process, to ensure optimum quality of the sausages audit.
