Economy Secretary-General held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Exports of a country that has nearly tripled sales since 2009.
The Secretary General of Economics and president Andalusian Extenda, Gaspar Llanes, held a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Exports of Bolivia, Luis Fernando Baudoin, and representatives of the Andalusian Municipal Fund for International Solidarity (FAMSI), to establish ways of collaborating with the South American country, which have almost tripled sales since 2009.
The main purpose of this meeting was to share experiences on economic development, both in Bolivia and in Andalusia, in a moment of particular relevance to the Andalusian exports, which reached in 2014 the fifth consecutive year of record, with more than 26,512,000 of euros, 2.1% more than last year and 83% more than in 2009. Furthermore, we have also analyzed the potential of business cooperation between the two territories and the possibility of establishing partnerships.

This initiative is the result of cooperation between the Andalusian Municipal Fund for International Solidarity (FAMSI) and the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) in Bolivia, which also has the support of the Andalusian through the Andalusian Agency for International Development Cooperation.

FAMSI is a network of local governments of Andalusia and other social organizations and promotes the integral development and horizontal cooperation of the territories, so that the various Andalusian agents collaborate with their counterparts in other countries to achieve socially just and alliances respectful of the environment and human rights. To do this, by the United Nations Program for Development, it has developed various activities in Latin America, Africa or Asia.
