Bayer Crop Science has presented its renewed Bayfolan range in Murcia, consolidating its position in the biostimulant market and reaffirming its commitment to a more efficient and sustainable agriculture. The company brought together distributors and agricultural technicians at an event where it presented the innovations incorporated in these top-quality products.

The Bayfolan range is updated with the addition of Bayfolan Algae and Bayfolan Aktivator, two new biostimulants that join the already consolidated solutions: Bayfolan Citrus, Bayfolan Potassium, Ergostim, Folamin and Fruitone.

Bayfolan Aktivator is a naturally derived physioactivator with three different categories of nutrient compounds (hydrolyzed proteins, fulvic acids and microelements) that help plants reach their full potential. Bayfolan Algae is a biostimulant based on Ascophyllum nodosum extract , a unique composition to survive stress .

The renewed range is based on a three-dimensional approach – yield, quality and stress tolerance– to boost crop productivity, improve quality parameters and help plants overcome adverse conditions such as nutritional deficits, water stress or sudden temperature changes.

The launch of Bayfolan responds to the continued expansion of the biostimulant market in Spain, with estimates of between 250 and 300 million euros, and consolidates Bayer’s strategy of offering differentiated, high quality solutions designed to ensure maximum yield and optimal return on investment for the farmer.
