Once again this year, Koppert will be present at Fruit Attraction, the most important trade show in the fruit and vegetable sector, which will be held in Madrid from October 6 to 8. The company will welcome customers, growers, technicians, and industry professionals at Hall 9, Booth 9E24, in a space that has been expanded this year from 80 to 100 square meters to improve service capacity and provide a more comfortable setting for meetings with visitors and customers.
The 2026 edition will be particularly international for the company specializing in pest control, with the presence of numerous company executives from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and South America. They will maintain a busy schedule of meetings and professional gatherings throughout the three-day trade show to gain firsthand insight into the needs of different markets and advance strategies that help consolidate biological control as an essential tool for more sustainable and efficient agriculture.
One of the main highlights of Koppert’s participation in Fruit Attraction will be the presentation of a preview of the results obtained with its biological control protocols against thrips and spider mites.
In this context, Koppert will hold a media briefing on October 7 to discuss the progress and performance of Amblydromalus limonicus since the start of the early bell pepper season in Almería. Participants will include: Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Sales Director for Almería; Julián Giner, Technical Director for Almería; and Valter Ceppi, Business Development Manager at Koppert.
The company will focus on the experience gained during the early stages of the season and on the adaptability of biological control protocols to actual field conditions.
Limonicus: Versatility for coping with changing conditions
One of the aspects Koppert will highlight during the media briefing is the biological versatility of A. limonicus, which takes on special relevance in a context where changing climate conditions are posing new challenges for pest management. Temperature trends and extreme weather events recorded in recent months have forced the industry to adapt strategies and protocols to maintain the effectiveness of biological control.
Its ability to thrive across a wide temperature range, combined with its dietary versatility, makes this predatory mite a particularly valuable tool for addressing increasingly variable growing conditions.
In addition, on October 6, Koppert will host a new edition of Koppert Attraction, an event that will bring together industry professionals to discuss resilient agriculture. Under the theme “A Journey Through Resilient Agriculture Around the World,” the event will combine gastronomy, photography, and testimonials from farmers in different countries through Koppert Resilience Food Stories, an initiative that highlights the stories of those who work to produce food in harmony with nature.
